Our Annual Pastor's Aide Program will be held on Sunday,June 13, 2010 at 3:30 PM. Rev. Milton Chambers and the New Hope Friendship Baptist Church will be our special guests.
Youth/Abstinence Program
The Nurses' Auxiliary will be hosting their Annual Youth Abstinence Program on Monday, June 13, 2010 at 6:30 PM. All parents are encouraged to bring their youth. Please see Sis. Graham for further details.
Father's Day Breakfast
Our Annual Father's Day Breakfast will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 9:00 AM. All fathers are encouraged to attend.
Youth Department Meetings
Youth meetings are held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Parents are asked to pick up their children promptly at 8:00 p.m. There are no meetings on the 4th and 5th Mondays. If any meeting falls on a holiday, the scheduled meeting will take place unless otherwise announced. Please check the bulletin for further changes or details.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will take place June 21-25, 2010 from 6PM-8PM nightly. Our theme for this year is The Jesus Chronicles:A Life-Changing Encounter. We will focus on Luke 3:4.
Online Giving
Online giving of your tithe and offering donations is now available on the SMBC website. Go to the Members Page and click the Online Giving link.
Submit Announcements & Prayer Requests Online!
Bulletin announcements and prayer requests can be submitted online. There is a request form link on the Members Page of the website. All online requests will be forwarded to the church administrative clerks, Angela Bailey and Tracy Brown. The deadline for submitting announcements is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday!
Members Business Directory
A business directory has been added to the church website as a reference help for SMBC members. Go to the Members Page and click the Business Directory link. Members who have a business they want listed need to send an email to that includes your name, type of business and daytime phone number. You will be contacted by a member of the church website team.
